Small marina on the eastern shore of Roskilde Fjord

Navigation

The approach is only recommended during the day. It is approached from the north via the buoyed fairway to Jyllinge. At the second green buoy, head for the harbor on a northeasterly course.

Berths

The harbor is heavily occupied by local yachts. Guests are moored in places agreed with the harbour master (water depth 1.7m).

Surroundings

The small, cozy marina only offers sanitary facilities, but there are supply options in nearby Jyllinge (1 km away)

NV Land Guide

Finding space in the city harbor, the smallest of Jyllinge's three harbors, is virtually impossible and a matter of luck in the not much larger private North Harbor. On the other hand, finding a free berth in the Jyllinge South supermarina is no problem at all. So you only have the north and south harbors to choose from. The location of these two harbors on a particularly scenic section of the Roskildefjord leaves nothing to be desired, but they cannot be said to have a particularly cozy atmosphere. Both are surrounded by a huge suburban and vacation home area, especially in Jyllinge South.

Both are located on large harbor aprons, with an American style predominating in the South Harbor. The cropped lawns between large concrete areas do not give you the feeling of being in Denmark. On the other hand, the facilities of the modern facility for 400 yachts are quite good. There is a restaurant, a kiosk, a café and a clubhouse. You have to walk about one kilometer to the shopping complex "Jyllingecentret" in a north-easterly direction and can take the opportunity to take a short walk from there to the tiny "commercial harbour" of the village. A few pretty thatched-roof houses of old Jyllinge line the way.
