Description

The largest and most important mainland port on the East Frisian Wadden Sea. The lively ferry/supply port for the islands of Norderney and Juist is home to a sizeable fishing fleet, the yacht club's spacious marina with 250 berths, and the Störtebeker yacht center with approx. 60 berths.

The approach to Norddeich via the buoyed Busetief has water depths of less than 1 m in some sections. In the last mile before the harbor, the dredged channel, protected by lighted guide dams on each side, has a specified depth of 2 m. It is equipped with two directional lights and is marked on the starboard side.

Berths

Visiting boats can find mooring in the well-developed marina of the Yacht Club Norden, which has 250 berths on floating jetties with a water depth of approx. 1.5 m.
Additional berths can be found in the Osthafen, where the Störtebeker Yacht Center operates a yacht service facility with a travel lift, workshop, gas station, and floating dock for approximately 60 yachts.
