The Danish Road Administration warns of changed or stronger currents under the Svendborg Bridge. The reason for this is a newly installed collision protection in front of the bridge piers.
All sailors should approach the bridge with caution, if possible with the engine in standby mode. Small boats can still pass the bridge outside the fairway.
