Access during the day is no problem, it is directly from the fairway. At night, it is also possible to approach the unlit harbor due to its proximity to the lighted fairway.

Berths

In both parts of the small marina north of the ferry (2.5 - 3m water depth) at green marked places. The ferry jetties and the Old Harbour are closed to pleasure craft.

Supermarket approx. 4 km away. Bicycles at the harbor.

The harbor of the sleepy "nest" still shows that there used to be more life here when Jutland cattle and agricultural products were still being shipped. Its heyday as a fishing village is also visibly a thing of the past, although fishing boats still set out to catch fish. The town itself offers nothing exciting. You can cross over to the pretty island of Hjarnø in just a few minutes (see Hjarnø). There is also a ferry connection between Snaptun, Horsens and the island of Endelave.

Three kilometers from Snaptun is one of Denmark's oldest village museums, the Glud Open-Air Museum. The exhibitions in the houses of the museum village show old household utensils, traditional costumes and tools from three centuries of farming culture.

It is definitely worth a visit. It shows how the fields were plowed, bread was baked and beer was brewed. Visitors can learn how butter was churned and flax was prepared.

Tools of the wheelwright, carpenter, bricklayer, cooper, pump maker, clog maker, spinning wheel turner and watchmaker are on display. There is also a collection of model ships from Noah's Ark to the ships of the 15th century. A pillory makes it possible to imagine the ordeal to which those chained up were subjected.
