Description

A beautifully situated suburban marina in the town of Nakskov on the north shore, near the shipping channel and across from Barneholm Island.

NV Cruising Guide

Navigation

Access is directly from the Nakskov Fjord channel via a dredged channel with a target depth of 3 meters. However, the channel is prone to silting up. At night, sufficient residual light or a searchlight is required to make out the many unlit buoys.

Berths

The harbor is quite crowded with local boats. There are no designated guest berths. However, the berths are all marked with red and green signs, and guest boats are welcome. The water depth in the harbor is approximately 3 m.

Surroundings

Apart from basic restroom facilities and a kiosk at the nearby campground, there are no amenities here. The well-maintained clubhouse is not always open. All amenities (including fuel) can be found in Nakskov, 2 km away (see S11/10).

NV Land Guide

This marina, located one nautical mile from the commercial port, offers recreational boaters a range of facilities right on the waterfront, but it has one major drawback: it is too far from the city center. So if you’d rather focus on exploring Nakskov and are willing to do without decent restroom facilities, you should choose the commercial harbor as your mooring spot (see also Nakskov). Among other things, visitors will find a small campground, a kiosk, a restaurant with a cafeteria, and a mini-golf course set amid extensive green spaces.

Car traffic is limited, as the road leading here is a dead end. From a circular hiking trail on the offshore headland, you can overlook large parts of the Nakskov Fjord. In the opposite direction, the footpath along the waterfront leads into town.

Toller Hafen mit großem Spielplatz. Sehr gepflegte Anlage. Surfschule direkt am Hafen, ebenso ein kleines Restaurant. Entgegen der Kommentierung im NV Hafenlotse sind hier Gastlieger willkommen. Die Boxen sind rot/grün beschildert.
