In the straits between the islands there is everywhere the so-called "jet effect" - thereby the wind strength increases.
Here in the Croatian sea area between the many islands one should pay attention to it.
With NW winds and SE Bora the wind strength can increase by the jet effect around 2 Bft and the current can also be affected by it.
