Information

Pleasure craft are requested to use the channel marked by the yellow spar buoys marking at least 1.8m depth contour. If you can not use the recommended recreation track along the yellow buoys of the Pollendam, it is essential to keep 30 metres clear of the dam. Mind the cross current which occurs when the dam is flooded; depending on the current direction it may set you towards the dam.
