Description

This marina is located in the southern part of the harbor. Do not get distracted by Marina Kornatis waving marineros, who wish to invite you to their more expensive marina. Sangulin is located behind the 3rd pier on the right, near Angelina Charter. The lower berth costs compared to Marina Kornati come at a price— very simple sanitary facilities and traffic noise. Visiting yachts are not welcome on the weekends, as they need all their manpower to deal with the charter guests.

The city of Biograd has, in addition to the many shopping opportunities, restaurants, hospital, post office, etc. also some sights to offer. The old town center is located on the small peninsula south of the marina.

Biograd was first mentioned in the 10th century  and has been the seat of Croatian kings and bishops since the 11th century.The Venetians destroyed the town in 1125. The city wall with round towers was demolished at the end of the 19th century. The monastery church of St. John, a three-aisled basilica is preserved, only ruins of the church of St. Thomas are left. The parish church of St. Anastasia, built in 1761, contains baroque altars. An archaeological collection with prehistoric, ancient and old Croatian exhibits can be admired in the local museum.
