Description

Saint-Malo lies in the northeast of Brittany and is noted for its historic walled old town. Nearby are several small islands, including Grand Bé and Fort National, which are accessible at low tide. The tidal range in Saint-Malo is among the largest in France and worldwide.

Navigation

The Vauban Basin is located right next to the old town. Access is via the Ecluse du Naye. It is important to contact the port office (VHF Ch 12)  one hour before arriving. 

Berths

The marina offers nearly 200 berths, with 30 allocated for visitors. Access is possible from 2.5 hours before to 2.5 hours after high tide.

Surroundings

There is a telephone and laundry facilities at the harbour office. You can find many restaurants in the old town of Saint-Malo which is west of the basin.
