Attention: The temporary bridge was severely damaged by another ramming on 23.07.2024. The southern passage opening is closed to shipping. The northern passage opening is available for passage. A lookout service is set up on VHF channel 73.

The clearance height of the Elsfleth/Ohrt railroad bridge is

approx. 3.9 m at mean high tide,

approx. 7.8 m at mean low tide.

Note: The swing bridge shown was irreparably damaged at the end of February 2024 as a result of being hit by a barge and was removed as a result.
Until a new bridge is built, there is a fixed temporary bridge on site.
The respective clearance height is displayed on the bridge level.

Swivel bridge:
Bridge openings are only possible during the respective bridge operating hours from 2 hours before sunrise to 2 hours after sunset.
