The approach to the jetties is via the Lesum with a target depth
of 0.7m. at km 4.5 above the barrage is the jetty.
The passage is via the lock on the north side of the barrage, which
is, however, normally open. The lock is closed when the water level
is about 30 cm above MHW. Yachts without masts can also pass
through the lifting gates, the clearance height is indicated at the
central pier. The bridge is opened on demand (sound signal two
long). The lock and bridge are continuously manned from 06:00 to
22:00 in the period 16.3.-15.11.
Berths
Guest berths can be found by arrangement with the boatswain.
