NV Cruising Guide
Navigation
The harbour can also be entered at night. From the fairway in Källö fjord you have to steer course 299° (two red lights/ day marks in line). You have to watch out for the flax northwest of the archipelago at the first red light. In front of the harbour the current usually sets northwards at under 1 knot.
Berths
Before stern anchor at the very back of the harbour, water depth 2.5 - 3.5m. With permission, other places can also be used. The harbor is very protected, except in strong winds from the southeast.
Surroundings
With the exception of the densely populated part, Rörö is a nature reserve. In the western part you can find interesting flora with many rare species because of the alkaline rock. In addition there are beautiful excursion and bathing places. Especially the beautiful view from the hill Monkhuvudet in the north of the island should be mentioned. There is a ferry connection with Hälsö, from where there is a bus connection with Gothenburg via Hönö and another car ferry.
