Cosy, nicely situated marina at a former brickyard, 3.5 nm north of Rungsted.

Access to the lighted harbour is possible day and night.

Caution: Approximately 250m northeast of the entrance, avoid a rocky shoal (1.9m).

Berths

Guests can find free places (green signs) on 2-2,5m water depth.

Surroundings

Except for a clubhouse with the usual sanitary facilities, you will not find any supply facilities here. The nearest grocer is in the village of Nivå, 2.5 km away.

NV Land Guide

Nivå is the only rural harbour between Helsingør and Copenhagen without connection to a town. At the moorings there are only very simple sanitary buildings, two small clubhouses and a few red-painted small wooden huts in allotment format, which have names like "MY Castle". To the north and south the harbour is enclosed by two small lakes, to the west it is bordered by the coastal road. Reeds and beautiful sandy beaches with dunes are the main attractions of Nivå, which has only two cottage settlements and the buildings of a disused brickyard inland. Immediately northwest of the harbour is a pølserbude.

The Nivågård Museum with its "'Malerisamling", two kilometres southwest of the harbour, is the only attraction in the immediate vicinity. The collection includes European works of art from Italy, Germany, France and the Netherlands from the 16th and 17th centuries. In addition, there are Danish paintings from the 19th century. The building is set in a beautiful park, which was laid out at the turn of the century.
