The approach to the fired harbour is unproblematic day and night. You orientate yourself at the pier light (Fl.3s.3M).

Berths

The harbour is heavily occupied with local small boats. Nevertheless, guests can usually find some berths just beyond the harbour entrance.
The target depth in the entrance is 3m and in the harbour basin 2-2.5m. However, heavy siltation must be expected.

Surroundings

Cosy, small fishing harbour with the usual sanitary facilities and kiosk. Good bus connections to Landskrona and Helsingborg.

NV Land Guide

The village at the small, traditional fishing and boat harbour has barely 40 houses. The mostly low, old buildings nestle on a hill and lend the village a picturesque appearance when approaching from the sea. Lovingly trimmed hedges with archways along the harbour road, a narrow village street and carefully preserved details on the houses are more reminiscent of a typical Danish gem than of a Swedish fishing village, which is usually more generously laid out. But the narrow coastal strip at the foot of the hill probably left the former village community no choice but to limit themselves in building houses and roads.

About 300m north of the harbour you come across the remains of an old bunker on the beach. In its immediate vicinity is a pond in the coastal inlet, presumably a small natural harbour of long ago. Above the pond lies a very well preserved passage grave discovered in 1843 and dating from around 2000 BC.

Supply facilities are poor in the cosy nest, but a kilometre east of the moorings stands Ögenäs Slott, where there is a hotel and restaurant.
