AT 1.1m, AT 0.9m at MW (Km 131- Km 141), AT 0.5m (Km 141- Km160)  .

DH 3.2m at MW (Km 106 - Km131), 2.7m (Km 131-  160).

Caution: during persistent drought the water level is very often 0.3-0.5m below the MW.

Unless further restricted by shore signs, the zHG between Neuhaus Lock and Glower See is 10 km/h.

There is a night-time ban on recreational boats powered by internal combustion engines on state waters between 10pm and 5am.


Be aware of the regulations and mooring bans of the nature conservation authorities, which are posted locally. This is home to many rare species of waterfowl and, in some cases, endangered animals such as beavers and otters. Waste, faeces, oil residues and industrial water belong in designated disposal facilities on land and not in the water of the rivers and lakes.


Between Beeskow and the Schwielochsee, the Spree is free of bridges and overhead power lines. For the sea trip, sailboats can already set the rig in Beeskow.
