Information

The clearance of the bridges that cross the fairways of the „Friese Boezem“, is indicated as referred to Fries Streefpeil, which is 5.2 dm below NAP. In other words, the measures marked on the map refer to the level that the „Wetterskip Fryslân“ has set as a benchmark for effective water management. Information regarding the actual water level is available locally, either by telephone or from hydrografic installations along the fairways(their location and the phone-numbers are listed in de ANWB Wateralmanak 2. The dephts are also marked as referred to Fries Streefpeil, considerable deviations in the actual water-mark have to be reckoned with.
