Description

On the western shore is the village of Fornells, with a small harbour.
There are few visitor moorings, especially in summer, either on the north-east breakwater or on the pontoon opposite, on the south side of the harbour entrance. At a depth of 4 to 2m, the harbour tends to get a little muddy.

Navigation

Cabo Fornells, about 2 miles east of Cabo Caballeria, has a prominent tower and is easy to spot. Entering the bay is easy and straightforward, there are no offshore hazards and the water is deep in the entrance until just offshore. The harbour is about half a mile inside the entrance on the starboard side.

Berths

At the head of the outer pier the PortsIB offers space for 6-8 guest yachts up to a length of 12 m, water depth around 3 m. Water, electricity, WC and showers are available. The breakwater is unclean with rocky outcrops and therefore sailing yachts should moor with bow and deploy stern anchors.

The Club Nàutic Fornells has about 30 guest berths in the outer part of the central jetty in 4m of water by the service station.

Der Hafen ist sehr klein und großteils mit Fischerbooten belegt. Zum Teil sehr flach! Achtung - die Mooringleinen der beim Molenkopf liegenden Boote gehen sehr flach ins Wasser! Der Ort selbst ist wunderschön - ein Besuch lohnt! Sehr gute Versorgungsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants!
