Description

The 400-year-old cypress tree in the garden of the Franciscan monastery with elliptically grown branches is a natural monument.
But the monastery museum has other treasures to offer - the collections of Greek, Roman and Venetian coins, amphorae, paintings by Venetian painters and numerous other interesting exhibits can be seen in the museum. One of the greatest treasures is the atlas of the important ancient cartographer, astronomer, mathematician and philosopher Claudius Ptolemy.
