Description

Trpanj is located almost in the middle of the northern shore of the Pelješac peninsula and is the ferry port to the mainland to Ploče. The long outer pier has a rocky island in the middle with the statue of the Virgin Mary, which is illuminated at night. The pier head is lighted (Fl.R.3s), and behind it is the sheltered harbor basin. On the short, wide pier (8Fl.2s) the ferry docks on the outside. On the inside there is 3m of water depth and a good place to moor. The quay wall in front of the place has 2,5m WT and here are 6-8 mooring places with stern line, water and electricity. You can also anchor well in the shelter of the outer pier in front of the place - water depth around 7m. In some weather conditions there is swell or swell in the harbor even with light wind. In the old place there are numerous restaurants and all supply possibilities.

East of the port is a beautiful bathing bay, which has an almost closed, lake-like bay in the west, the Blace Bay.
From the port one goes through the place, past the church, an old cemetery and arrives at the Blace Bay. In the wide bathing bay is also a bar to strengthen for the way back.
