In the straits between the islands everywhere there is the so-called "jet effect" - this increases the wind force.
Here in the Croatian sea area between the numerous islands should be aware of this!
In NW winds and SE bora, the wind force can increase by 2 Bft. due to this effect and also the sea current can be affected.
