Description

Splitska - former loading port, the eastern side of the entrance has a red light (FL.R.2s).

Moorings on the eastern quay with 1.9m, in the middle for yachts up to 3.1m draft and then the water depth decreases again. The water and electricity connections are being planned.

Today this is a popular resort on the small peninsula between the Uvala Zastrup un the eastern Uvala Spliska with the harbour and the church.

The harbour was actually built for the transport of marble blocks from the nearby quarry to Split for the construction of Diocletian's palace  (295 to 305 AD).Chr.) built and then for many other buildings.

The western side bay has a far-stretched bathing zone, before it is e it equal 15m deep and in the summer it is here overcrowded and hardly Patz to anchor.

You should undertake in any case a walk to the old quarry just above the village on the main road. Here stands the sculpted figure of Heracles - by one of the sculptors of the Diocletian's Palace in Split. The surrounding area is characterised by pine groves, vineyards and olive plantations.
