Description

Vodice is a tourist center and popular seaside resort, but the place also offers many sights and good supply facilities.

The  ACI Marina has 382 berths in the water and 55 on land (10t crane, 60t travel lift), where you can almost always find a berth. 

 Near the marina there are supermarkets, a farmers market with fresh vegetables and fish, banks, post office, pharmacy, ambulance and bus station.

 Vodice is easily visible from afar, on the mountain Okit (133m) - in the hinterland  of the city stands a modern church. You can't see the hotel "Punta" from a distance, but at night you can see the white light on the roof. 

The lighted harbour entrance is also the entrance to ACI Marina. You keep a little east and pass the two pier heads of the marina. Berths are allocated by the harbor master. 

At the eastern corner of the marina is the fuel station, but it is not accessible from the marina side. Since the petrol station is located on the outside of the breakwater, it is very rough in bad weather. 

East of the petrol station is a local small boat marina with a 3t crane.

 West of the marina, inside the breakwaters, is the small town harbour with some mooring places,  on the inside of the breakwater 4m water depth. Local boats are moored right on the Vodice waterfront, 

Vodice was known as Arausa in Roman times. Vodice was first mentioned in 1402, when the construction of the church Sv. Križ began. Vodice means (voda) water, and it is situated in a water rich area. Besides the old town with its narrow streets, the defensive ramparts and the Ćorić tower from Turkish times are worth visiting.

On the eastern shore, just south of the town is a large holiday enttlement. Hotel Olympia Sky is visible from afar.
