Description

Mjels Vig is a beautifully situated, quieter side bay of the often overcrowded Dyvig.

Navigation

An approach is only recommended during the day. After passing the "Stegløb" channel and entering Dyvig, turn to starboard into Mjels Vig. Here, a privately designated fairway runs along the northern shore to the jetty with a target depth of 2.1 m.

Berths

The jetties are located in the south-eastern part of the bay at a water depth of 1 - 2.5 m.

Surroundings

The berth is overcrowded in summer, so there are few options for catering. At least there is a small kitchen with a coffee machine and a small fridge for daily needs  

The natural idyll here attracts visitors. Mjels Vig is the perfect place for pleasure boaters who want to relax on walks in the secluded area around the bay. It is advisable to be well stocked with provisions, unless a trip to Nordborg  a few kilometers away or a hike to the harbor kiosk of Dyvig Marina are on the agenda.

You can enjoy your time ashore on the playground or on the terrace. A short walk to Dyvig is definitely recommended.

Alles was hier bislang geschrieben wurde, ist völlig richtig. Sehr idyllischer Liegeplatz mit sehr sauberen sanitären Anlagen. Die große Gemeinschaftsküche ist mit allen Pött und Pann ausgestattet, aber man muss alles selbst mitbringen. Im Kühlschrank findet man nur wenige saisonale Lebensmittel und Getränke. Mitte Mai ist zwar noch kein Sommer, aber wir haben den vorletzten Liegeplatz bekommen. Viele Liegeplätze scheinen von Dauerliegern belegt zu sein.

Absolute Empfehlung. Die Hafenmeisterin geht abends die Boote ab und nimmt Bestellungen für frisch Brötchen am nächsten Morgen auf. Saubere sanitäre Einrichtungen. Sehr idyllisch. Gut ausgestattete Küche, je nach Jahreszeit können kleinere frische Lebensmittel/ Eier/ Marmeladen erworben werden.
