NV Cruising Guide
Navigation
The approach to the fired harbour is unproblematic during the day. It is approached from the southeast on a northwesterly course. When entering, one should keep to the port side of the entrance.
Berths
In the northern part of the harbour guests will find sufficient, but very expensive berths (approx. 2.2m water depth). In the southern part the water depth is 2.5 - 3m, there it is choppy with easterly wind; with stronger easterly wind the southern part of the harbour is practically unusable.
Surroundings
You can buy some food on the idyllic island. The island has a landing strip for sports planes in the southern part.
No ferry or car traffic on the island.
NV Land Guide
After major renovation work, the harbour has been given a new lease of life. The island's new usage concept is under the heading "Rustic Luxury" - which apparently includes the unusually high harbour fee. The island offers a mix of recreation, ecological agriculture and hunting, without car traffic and ferry connections. It is approached by yacht or sports aircraft.
