Description

Rural small boat and marina of the "Blans-Både-Klub", 3 km northwest of Bandholm.

Navigation

The approach to the fired harbour is from the western pair of buoys of the Bandholm fairway at 257° ( approx. 2.5m water depth).

In summer, private buoyage is available.

Berths

The harbour is occupied by local boats. Guest berths inside at the east pier (2m water depth).

Anchorage: A protected anchorage, especially in westerly winds, can be found southeast of Lindholm Island at 3 - 4m water depth.

Surroundings

There are no utilities in the scenic harbor.

NV Land Guide

This harbour was in danger of falling into disrepair when the Blans Boat Club bought it a few years ago and restored it. This work apparently put such a strain on the club's coffers that only basic sanitary facilities could be created. At the entrance to the harbour, a dead end, there are only a few wooden huts and equipment sheds. There is a grocer in the settlement of Blans, about a kilometre away.
