Modern suburban marina of København on the northern shore of Køge Bay with approx. 500 berths.

For those unfamiliar with the area, the entrance is only recommended during the day due to the many nets off the coast. The entrance has a target depth of 3m, but is prone to silting up.

Berths

The marina is very busy with local yachts. However, guests can always find a berth (green signs) at 2 - 3m water depth.

Surroundings

While the marina, located on the edge of an industrial area, offers a wide range of services, the supply possibilities in the immediate vicinity are poor. At the harbour there is a kiosk, fuel and yachting supplies.

In 2 km distance lies the train station with connection to Copenhagen.

NV Land Guide

Brøndby Strand is part of the giant Køgebucht Strandpark project (see also Ishøj-Vallensbaek and Hundige). The suburban marina is located "off the beaten track" near an industrial area with large areas of wasteland. The somewhat long way to the S-Bahn station, which connects the otherwise remote area with the center of Copenhagen, a sewage treatment plant in the neighborhood and the poor supply situation are reasons not to moor here.

The only attraction, besides the service equipment, is the bathing beach located directly west of the harbor.
