NV Cruising Guide
Navigation
The approach is possible day and night. It takes place with approx. 310° (in the white sector of the pier light) in order to remain free of the extensive setting nets, some of which reach far out to sea.
Berths
The harbour is very busy with local yachts. Guests berth, according to the harbour master's instructions, on the few free places with 2 - 2.3m water depth.
The fishing basin in the western part of the harbour can also be used by pleasure boats.
Surroundings
There are satisfactory utilities on the main road and a fast rail link to Copenhagen.
At the harbour itself you will find diesel and a small boatyard, as well as the usual marina services.
NV Land Guide
Only a few fishing boats are still moored in the only old fishing harbour in the northern Køgebay. Today, the harbour is dominated by pleasure craft. The former summer cottage area has now become a suburb of Copenhagen with detached houses. To the north of the site is a child-friendly sandy beach.
Clubhouse and kiosk are located by the harbour's storage sheds. A boat chandlery is located on the road leading into the development area. The facility is a bit cozier than the more northerly harbours of Køgebucht beach park.
