Description

Former fishing port in the south of København, today mainly used as a marina for pleasure craft and residential vessels.

Navigation

The harbor should only be approached by those unfamiliar with the area during the day. If you are coming from the south, steer through the buoyed fairway under the new road bridge (H = 16 m). You can reach the buoyed entrance to the fishing harbour via the 3.1 m deep, marked fairway Kalvebodløb.

Northbound passage into the harbours of København is possible for boats with a maximum clearance of 3m. Lock times must be observed

Berths

The harbor is heavily occupied by local yachts. Guests are welcome, but less frequent. You can choose a place and consult one of the motor and sailing clubs (2.5 to 3m water depth). A key for the toilets and showers can be obtained from the sailing club on payment of the harbor fee. Electricity and water are included in the fee of DKK 140.

Surroundings

Transport connections to København city center by bus or S-Bahn. There is no more fuel at the harbor, but a few meters north on foot is a car filling station.

NV Land Guide

This harbor is basically a fishing port in name only. Today, it is mainly yachts and houseboats that dominate the scene. Compared to the harbors surrounded by industry in northern Copenhagen, this harbor, which is primarily popular with motorboat enthusiasts, can almost be called cozy. But even the fishing harbor, surrounded by industrial operations, has its own charm as a vacation stopover and offers a glimpse of a part of Copenhagen that has passed in many other places. Especially the small alleyways and fishing huts. The fast transport links to Copenhagen are of course a plus point of this resort and there is also plenty to do on foot from here.
