Marina on the south-western shore of the Bay of Wismar

Navigation

Those unfamiliar with the area are advised not to approach at night. From the fairway to Wismar, steer from buoy pairs "27" and "24" at 253° directly to the jetty. The harbor area in the southeast tends to silt up.

Berths

Sport boats will find berths at three slips at a water depth of approx. 5m. The harbor is almost completely occupied by permanent berths. A few guest berths can usually be found on free slips (green, by arrangement with the harbour master. In easterly winds, the jetty is unprotected and is therefore not suitable for a longer stay.

Surroundings

Sanitary facilities are available.

The harbor is open from 20.04. to 08.10. (nature reserve).

There is a restaurant and a kiosk at the harbor. There are bathing facilities and a golf course in the immediate vicinity of the harbor. The large parking lot at the harbour and the beach are subject to charges. There are further shopping facilities and restaurants in Beckerwitz (approx. 2.5 km from the harbor). There is a bus connection from Hohen Wieschendorf to Wismar.

Walking around the harbor, you will find plenty of cultural landscapes in addition to the shoreline with its cliffs. Guided tours are offered in the bird sanctuary.

Sehr schöner im Grünen gelegener Hafen mit erstklassigen Sanitäranlagen und einem netten Restaurant. Im Gegensatz zu den Angaben im Hafenlotsen ist der Hafen voll mit einheimischen Booten besetzt und es gibt für Gaslieger nur wenige Liegeplätzen an Schlengeln (grün, Absprache mit demm Hafenmeistern) von Boote, die unterwegs sind.
