Description

Very nice small former fishing harbor, which now serves as a marina. The harbour was recently modernized and dredged to 2.5m.

The approach is at 122° via a buoyed passage between "Snøde-Rev" and "Eggeløkke Rev" (at night: leading light 2 F.G). Close to the entrance, steer slightly north of the leading light line between the two unlit spars towards the harbor. South of the entrance, in the direction of the breakwater, there is a shoal with a depth of 0.5 m, which tends to run aground. The two wind turbines north of the harbor are a good point of orientation.

Berths

The harbor, which is used almost exclusively by gas yachts, offers moorings with stern piles of various widths, which are also sufficient for larger yachts.

The draft can be 1m, which is why the harbor can be approached with a draft of 2.5m, or more if the weather is suitable.

Electricity at modern columns and water is available at the jetties.

Surroundings

There are hardly any amenities in this small town! There is a tapas and wine bar at the harbor.

For many decades, Dageløkke harbor, which was built by Tranekær Manor in 1898, was a berth for numerous fishing boats with modest facilities around the small harbor basin. The image of the harbor, which was originally built for the shipment of vegetables, has changed dramatically. Today, a port center offers a wide range of leisure facilities. With an indoor swimming pool, table tennis rooms and even a sauna, the physical well-being of vacationers is taken care of. There is also a children's playground and a supermarket. The leisure facilities are mainly thanks to the Dageløkke vacation center, which has over 100 vacation homes. Dageløkke is therefore not one of the particularly cozy places.

But there are a number of attractions in the scenic surroundings. To the south of the village, for example, is Ritterqut Eqeløkke, whose park is open to visitors on Sundays and public holidays from 9 am to 6 pm. The manor became famous through the romantic writings of the well-known Danish pastor and rebel against the established church, N.F.S. Grundtvig, who took up a position as a tutor there around 1805 and fell unhappily in love with the mother of his pupil. His unrequited love for the major's wife, Constanze Leth, is said to have led him to strive for more knowledge in order to forget his love. Grundtvig was involved in the folk high school movement, which campaigned for educational opportunities for ordinary people in order to give them a greater say in society. He also campaigned for a more humane and cheerful Christianity.

A trip to Tranekær Castle, further south, is worthwhile. The island of Langeland was once ruled from Tranekær Castle. Situated on a hill, the castle is surrounded by an artificial lake and a moat. It is the oldest secular building in Denmark that is still inhabited. The English-style castle park can be visited on marked paths. The castle itself cannot be visited. The well-preserved houses from around 1800 to the south of the castle once housed the servants. The village at the foot of the aristocratic residence housed body servants, footmen, grooms, musicians, hunters, gardeners and many more. The village inn has been a royally privileged inn since 1803. Tranekær church, which is well worth seeing, is essentially a vaulted nave from 1450 with a tower on the north side.

The development of the milling industry and the history of Langeland's many mills is on display at Tranekær Castle Mill. The castle from 1846 first turned the blades of the mill, which stands one kilometer north of the castle on the road between Tranekær and Lejbølle. Today it is owned by the Danish Mill Association, which has opened it to the public. Langeland is located in a very good windmill area, with an average wind speed of over five meters per second. As many as eleven of the island's once numerous mills are still standing today -- the specialty of the "Dageløkke Kro" at the port of Dageløkke is fresh fish.

Sehr schöner Hafen,bei dem man sich nicht durch die Einfahrt schrecken lassen sollte - hier mehr links halten. Sehr nette Betreiber, die auch das Restaurant führen. Man kann hier oder am Automaten zahlen. Gute Sanitäranlage. Ein Punkt Abzug, weil es keine Abwaschmöglichkeit gibt. Reichlich Platz an Heckpfählen.

Wunderschöner, moderner Privathafen – sehr gepflegt, mit Strom & Wasser an jedem Platz. Wird liebevoll von einer Familie betrieben, die auch die hervorragende Tapasbar direkt am Hafen führt. Trotz Hochsaison (1.8.) angenehm ruhig. Tiefgang beachten: Nordwestmauer ca. 1,2 m, Südmauer 1,9 m, Mitte 2,5 m. Langsam manövrieren! Einer der schönsten Häfen Dänemarks – stilvoll & herzlich zugleich.

Netter Hafen - Lundeborg war überfüllt, deshalb hierher als Alternative. Nur wenige Boote hier. Mit 1,8 m Tiefgang konnten wir leider nicht an der Außenmole liegen - war wohl niedriger Wasserstand.

Sehr freundliches Personal, alles neu, super Preis (9-11m) 26€ mit Duschen, ohne Strom (25 DDK extra). Um 13 Uhr nur ein anderes Schiff im Hafen (Mitte August)

Sehr schöner kleiner Hafen mit toller Bar/Restaurant mit großartiger Aussicht. Einfahrt unkompliziert mit nie weniger als 2.5m Tiefe. Alles neu, schöne Sanitäranlagen und insgesamt sehr nette Betreiber.
