Novi Vinodolski means wine valley. The area has been settled since ancient times and the wine is known for its aroma. It's history goes back to prehistoric times, today you can still visit Novigrad, an impressive fort of the princes Frankopan - or the old Roman fortress Lopsica and of course two old churches.
