Small industrial port, which was extended to the west to include a fishing port and marina.

Navigation

The approach to the lighted harbor is possible day and night via a buoyed and lighted channel with 345.5° (leading light 2 F.R). The target depth is 4.2 m, but tends to silt up.

Attention: Extensive gillnet installations, some of which extend far out to sea (2.5 nm) and lie close to the fairway to the east and west of the entrance.

Liegeplätze

Guests are moored in the marina at 2 - 2.5m. The port of the lime works is closed.

There are good supply options in this somewhat remote location.

NV. Landgangslotse

If the weather forces you to call at this port, you will leave again in a hurry at the next opportunity. Dust and noise are guaranteed, as the port is a shipping point for sand-lime bricks from a large lime quarry near Faxe. The ugly lime warehouses around the berths are located in a scenic setting, but the forest, the beautiful beach, the Blabæks mill and the geological and cultural history museum in Faxe (Torvegade 29) cannot outweigh the disadvantages of the harbor.

If, as mentioned, you are still drawn here, you should take a look at the finds from the lime quarry in the museum. The limestone deposits formed around 70 million years ago in the Cretaceous period have a special name among geologists as a discovery site.

Die Beschreibung des Hafens könnte eine Überarbeitung vertragen. Wir waren auf unserem diesjährigen Törn zweimal im Hafen - kein Dreck und kein Lärm. Ein Frachter kam in der Nacht an - nicht zu hören. Der Sportboothafen selbst ist sehr schön, die Duschen / Toiletten sind neu, sauber und geräumig. Die Stegnachbarn gaben uns den Code für die Sanitäranlagen, die Hafengebühr hinterlegten wir am Morgen im Briefkasten. Gerne wieder.
